Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 7Original post

If yours is a standard factory fitted reverse sensor on a Tip have a read of this thread. http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?p=1566028 It really isn't a hard thing to fix the only difficulty is removing the centre console.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the reply My reversing lights are working so don't think it's the switch, I think it's the parking assist module but nobody seems to know where it's situated I've been told under the passenger seat, behind the rear seats, or in the rear bumper. Will have to trace the wires from the bumper sensors and see where they go. It might also be the buzzer, will have to search for that as well. Have been told it is not a factory fit so the mystery deepens. Steve
