Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

You might as well do the tuning fork arms if they've not been done to your knowledge; from bitter experience if they are worn they might rattle a bit though its not apparent to a visual inspection, or even testing the ball joints for play in situ.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all Following a major service on my 996T, an inspection report threw up the following items that needed attention: Left and right rear top arms Left and right rear lower arms Front right lower arms High pressure aircon pipes Low pressure aircon pipes Brakes discs and pads could do with replacing as well Where's the best place(s) to get hold of these items?

POST 2Original post

Autodoc.co.uk for most but keep an eye on their prices as they constantly discount during the week. Aircon pipes will be your local Porsche centre.

POST 3Original post

I'd second Autodoc. I got all my suspension items from them for a complete overhaul. As Alex said watch for discounts.

POST 5Original post

This looks like a good pack for OE spec suspension bits, though you'd still need the rear upper arms. You might as well do the tuning fork arms if they've not been done to your knowledge; from bitter experience if they are worn they might rattle a bit though its not apparent to a visual inspection, or even testing the ball joints for play in situ. They are very easy to replace. https://www.spyderperformance.co.uk...ontrol-support-arm-99634105318-99634104306-3/

POST 6Original post

POST 11Original post

I got my rear upper arms from Carparts4less in their frequent 20% off sales... they are Meyle. I can fish out the invoice if you want?

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That would be great- thanks again @Robertb

POST 13Original post

Sorry they weren't Meyle, they were CTE. Have been absolutely fine, quality looked great. https://www.carparts4less.co.uk/search/624330032
