Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone. I have an 02 Boxster S and have a no start issue. the car would crank but not fire, I replaced the Crankshaft Position sensor and still getting the same response. I did pull some codes, P1275,P1119- Controlled Fuel and Air Metering P0153,P0133- O2 sensor Circuit Slow Response Bank 2/Bank 1 When it cranks the Tach does not move. My question is do yall think the Mass Airflow Sensor could be bad and cause the not start? I don't want to just keep buying parts guessing at the problem. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I'll step on a limb and suggest it isn't the MAF sensor. In any event... disconnect the MAF connection and try to start it. A wiser mind soon will pipe in. Good luck.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks starter986. I kinda figured the MAF would not be the cause but figured I would ask anyway.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
