Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I replaced those with stainless parts from bel metric.

Id like to get mine replaced with high quality stainless ones as well.

I don't know of any stainless ones, but I used these:
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

My 996 does not have clamping sleeves like that. But my Cayenne does, and they are stainless steel. However the carriage bolts and nuts are plain steel. I replaced those with stainless parts from bel metric.

Amazon has URO ones for $13.90:

At that price I figure once they get real rusty it's worth to cut off and put on new ones.
The original Porsche exhaust clamps are not made of stainless steel. Please do not use the ones from Summit Racing. That is cheapest China quality. You can recognize it by the fact that the clamp consists of only one layer of sheet metal.
Make sure that the clamp has 2 layers of sheet metal and that they slide into each other. The outer clamps are made of galvanized steel. There is nothing made of stainless steel that has sufficient strength.

My current clamps are from HJS in Germany. You need the 55mm version.
thank you for the feedback & link. My tech buddy said that hed quit talking to me if I bought the Summit clamps.
Now I need to search for HJS in the USA
Timely post. I had some work done on my car and the replacement clamp is full-on rusted by now. It looks terrible and is visible from behind the car. Id like to get mine replaced with high quality stainless ones as well.
