Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi - new to the forum. Just picked up my first Porsche today - 1999 Carrera 4 in silver - very chuffed. It has some condensation under one of the headlights which when you look very closely looks like it sits slightly higher from the body than the other. Is this a common fault, is there an easy fix this, and does it indicate that there may have been a bit of a problem there in the past. Just getting to grips with the car - looking forward to giving it a good clean on the weekend and checking it out properly. Many thanks in advance for any help.

POST 2Original post

Condensation on headlights is normal so nothing to worry about

POST 3Original post

Eject the headlight and push it back in, the instructions will be in the manual. Hopefully that should realign it as it could have worked slightly loose.

POST 4Original post

Mine gets condensation when I use it for short runs. After a good run, it usually clears up....
