Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

hi any ideas how to replace the chrome cover on the headlight washer jet does the head light have to come out thanks

POST 2Original post

This comes from Terry on the PCGB forum: It is pretty easy but slightly fiddly. You have to get the headlight washer jet to stand up from the headlight unit. The Porsche centre suggested getting someone to operate the washer system whilst you catch it in the extended position but I found if you were careful you could gently lever it up. Then pull the whole unit out as far as it will go, about a couple of inches, and you will see that the washer jet unit fits into a grey plastic sleeve. the washer jet just pushes into place but to get the old one out you need to lift the tab slightly where you can see the black of the jet showing through. That may sound complex but when you look at it it is fairly obvious.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
