Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

grateful for any thoughts on a less expensive route to dealing with these unsightly blemishes on my seal grey boxster than going for a respray.

POST 2Original post

http://www.autobarn.net/3munruunbl.html you could do it urself using something like that. im not sure which rubberized spray 3m has that is just like our interior... but you could always order a couple and use the one that matches.

POST 3Original post

Are you talking about the ruberized coating on the console? If so mine was all scratched as well. I took out the console and removed all the rubber. It looks 100% better and now matches the ash tray. It has a nice texture under that awful coating. My arm rests were already free of any rubber when I got it. I used hot water and a green scouring pad to remove it. Took a good hour of scrubbing in the kitchen sink. I also used some alcohol which seemed to help. The key was the hot water.

POST 4Original post

POST 5Original post

I agree with Chris...here's my door pockets covered in leather.
