Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

There are some reasonable aftermarket kits around, but to be honest I haven't seen anything with the fit or finish of a properly installed Porsche kit.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was looking into adding the GT3 kit to my C2, was wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea to cost, i have heard some stories about aftermarket kits not being all that good and difficult to fit....even had one guy tell me that his had split.....any feedback appreciated

POST 2Original post

I'm not sure that the original Porsche Cup Aerokit is still available for the '98 C2 - it doesn't have a price lised now, which usually means it is discontinued. The Cup 2 kit for the facelift is £3700, but it won't fit the pre-facelift. You might want to check with an OPC to see if the original is still listed. There are some reasonable aftermarket kits around, but to be honest I haven't seen anything with the fit or finish of a properly installed Porsche kit.
