Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I'm sure the question has been asked a thousand times but..... I want to buy a sports exhaust for my 2003 C4S. Please can you tell me: 1. Exactly what I should be looking for? 2. Is it worth trying to find one second hand? 3. What I should look to pay? 4. Are there different options based on the amount you spend, i,e, £500, £1000, £1000+ Thanks in advance for your help. Chris

POST 2Original post

Hi Chris, PSE with a switch fitted in an OPC works out around £1700 I think. If there is a discount without the switch take it, you will never turn it off believe me

POST 3Original post

Hi Chris. I've been considering a Fab Speed system (New mufflers and exhaust tips) for a while now. I reckon that you'll get what you need for circa £700 - but (have a look at the videos on the Fab Speed website) ( http://www.fabspeed.com/996_GT3.html ) the quality seems to be pretty good to say the least! :thumb: If I don't sell the car I might well get one soon. They're not switchable but I wouldn't worry about that too much! Adrian.

POST 4Original post
