Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a little bit of wear on the seats and was wondering if any one used dynamix to repair their leather seats? If so what are the results like and is the dye a very close colour match? The big question is it easy to do yourself?

POST 2Original post

Yep I've used it and results are first class, clean leather with methylated spirits first then apply the dynamix liquid with a small sponge. I gave it two coats after allowing to dry thoroughly in between I used it on cracked and scratched seats in my 944 and it brought them back like new, a great colour match too

POST 3Original post

I used Dynamix dyes last year on my very scuffed driver's seat bolster and handbrake and it still looks good. Anyone that has seen it needed convincing that the leather has been dyed! You have to follow the instructions to the letter for good results. Very easy to do.
