Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Just wondering if there are any Canadians here who have ordered a Cayman... wondering about availability, ETA, price (MSRP or more?)..

POST 3Original post

Don't short change yourself on pricing. They will discount. Shop at least five stores within your area. Farther if you see fit. Use each stores pricing for your benefit. Call them first and hit them up for $2500 off and you will come down tonite. They will balk and call back in a couple of days. then when they do call back...tell the dealer you now have someone your working with at $3500 off and unless they can beat that there will be no deal. Explain that a 6K gross is better than no gross and that it doesn't appear that orders are flying off the shelf....tell them your ready to come down with your check book if their willing to talk turkey. If the dealer starts talking about how these CAYMAN's are the hottest thing since sliced bread...call his bluff and ask him how he knows that. No one has taken delivery much less driven them and how this could turn out the be another deep discount model like the Boxster. And if you get real aggressive. Call so Cal as they deal down this way.

POST 5Original post

If you can get a group of Canadians together (always a funtime), I'm happy to set up a forum for Canadian owners/enthusiasts much the same way that I set up a regional forum for the UK members.

No problem Patch2, are you one of those Canadians? If so update your profile and select a country and a country flag will show up under your name.
