Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Install on the pe (it's actually carbon fibre' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install on the pe (it's actually carbon fibre' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just wondering what the air intake differences are between the air scoops on a GT3 or GT2 decklid compared to the slats of a Carrera or Turbo?
When the carrera 'wing' is raised above 75 (or whatever) does this add to increased air flow into the engine? I've heard that the air scoops on a GT3 are worth 10-15bhp at speed due to increased air flow. Why doesn't a turbo have them, it still has the slats.
And what happens if you disable the carrera wing so that it doesn't raise (due to another wing), decrease in power?
The slats on the rear of the standard decklid pull enough air into the airfilter housing on the Carrera and Turbo. Raising the spoiler is more a function to counter aerodynamic lift over the rear axle, not provide additional cooling. The 911 shape is an upside down wedge that naturally creates air disturbance - and lift - over the rear sloping deck. Raising the spoiler provides stability at higher speed.
The GT3 (starting from the 996RS onwards) had a ram air scoop located on the top of the decklid that gathered additional low pressure air that would have been otherwise diverted away by the larger spoiler above it on the standard Mk1 and Mk2. The ram air scoop accelerates cold air into the air filter which is more dense than the warmer/hot air circulating through the normal air filter housing. This was shown to provide an approx 10-15hp gain over the same GT3 spoiler and decklid without the ram air scoop.
To get the most benefit of the ram air scoop, it needs a direct funnel on the underside to force the air directly into the air filter a la Cup style.

and the underside funnel:
Primarily, yes.
The added benefit (from a cooling standpoint) is that raising the spoiler raises the slats more directly into the airflow thereby drawing more hot air out of the engine bay at the same time as 'catching' cooler air.
The first movable spoiler on the 964 didn't have an 'air/spoiler curtain' that directed the hot air to exchange with the cold air above. Then the 993 onwards adopted the spoiler curtain as a more efficient to draw hot air out of the engine bay when the spoiler was raised.
