There is a place called Nelson Porsche (01642 670766) in Stockton-on-Tees that was recommended by a friend of mine but I've never used them so can't comment on the quality of their work.

Give Tom Ferguson www.tomfergusonmotorengineers.com a try. He is the only independent Porsche specialist in the Newcastle area and is located behind Gateshead Stadium just off the Tyne Bridge. He has done a few jobs on my 2002 996 C4S and always stands by the quality of his work. Glen.

Cheers Glen, I knew about Tom ferguson but didn't know where he had gone as they were on the Newcastle side of the river when I had my last Porsche!. So he is still the only independant in the imediate area then :?: Are there any a bit further afield :?: Ian
