Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars and Cayenne SUVs in the United States and Canada, announced October retail sales in the United States totaled 2,588 cars, a decrease of 14 percent compared to the same period last year. Total year-to-date sales were 26,397 cars compared to 26,353 for the first ten months of last year. October 2004 was a particularly difficult month to beat; with a volume of 3,021 cars, it was the best October in Porsche's history. In addition, dealers sold 402 Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicles compared to 361 for the same period last year. <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="653" border="0"> <tbody> <tr> <td width="276"> Model </td> <td colspan="2"> Month to Date </td> <td colspan="2"> Year to Date </td> </tr> <tr> <td></td> <td width="100"> Current Year </td> <td width="90"> Prior Year </td> <td width="101"> Current Year </td> <td width="86"> Prior Year </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Boxster</td> <td>0</td> <td>141</td> <td>289</td> <td>1705</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Boxster S</td> <td>2</td> <td>13</td> <td>265</td> <td>1608</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Boxster (987)</td> <td>361</td> <td>0</td> <td>3731</td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Boxster S (987)</td> <td>195</td> <td>0</td> <td>2698</td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>ALL BOXSTER</td> <td>558</td> <td>154</td> <td>6983</td> <td>3313</td> </tr> <tr> <td>911 Carrera</td> <td>0</td> <td>24</td> <td>128</td> <td>1245</td> </tr> <tr> <td>911 Targa</td> <td>0</td> <td>7</td> <td>41</td> <td>126</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Carrera Cabriolet</td> <td>0</td> <td>51</td> <td>198</td> <td>1107</td> </tr> <tr> <td>911 Turbo Coupe</td> <td>0</td> <td>0</td> <td>17</td> <td>228</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Carrera 4 S Coupe</td> <td>2</td> <td>14</td> <td>157</td> <td>789</td> </tr> <tr> <td>911 Turbo S Coupe</td> <td>1</td> <td>43</td> <td>166</td> <td>7</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Carrera 4 Cabriolet</td> <td>0</td> <td>6</td> <td>10</td> <td>82</td> </tr> <tr> <td>0</td> <td>2</td> <td>70</td> <td>1326</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Carrera 4 S Cabriolet</td> <td>1</td> <td>61</td> <td>84</td> <td>1387</td> </tr> <tr> <td>911 Turbo S Cabriolet</td> <td>14</td> <td>64</td> <td>523</td> <td>17</td> </tr> <tr> <td>GT3 Coupe</td> <td>0</td> <td>16</td> <td>95</td> <td>525</td> </tr> <tr> <td>GT2 Coupe</td> <td>0</td> <td>35</td> <td>5</td> <td>24</td> </tr> <tr> <td>911 Carrera(997)</td> <td>123</td> <td>3</td> <td>1775</td> <td>498</td> </tr> <tr> <td>911 Carrera S(997)</td> <td>248</td> <td>209</td> <td>1896</td> <td>698</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Carrera Cabriolet(997)</td> <td>124</td> <td>235</td> <td>1379</td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Carrera S Cabriolet(997)</td> <td>201</td> <td>0</td> <td>1486</td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Carrer 4 Coupe(997)</td> <td>81</td> <td>0</td> <td>81</td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Carrera 4S Coupe(997)</td> <td>57</td> <td>0</td> <td>57</td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Carrera 4 Cabriolet(997)</td> <td>18</td> <td>0</td> <td>18</td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Carrera 4S Cabriolet(997)</td> <td>30</td> <td>0</td> <td>30</td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>ALL 911</td> <td>900</td> <td>700</td> <td>8216</td> <td>8059</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Cayenne</td> <td>405</td> <td>496</td> <td>4392</td> <td>4846</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Cayenne S</td> <td>514</td> <td>1273</td> <td>4640</td> <td>7703</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Cayenne Turbo</td> <td>185</td> <td>306</td> <td>1875</td> <td>2287</td> </tr> <tr> <td>ALL CAYENNE</td> <td>1104</td> <td>2075</td> <td>10907</td> <td>14836</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Carrera GT</td> <td>26</td> <td>22</td> <td>291</td> <td>145</td> </tr> <tr> <td> GRAND TOTALS </td> <td> 2588 </td> <td> 3021 </td> <td> 26397 </td> <td> 26353 </td> </tr> <tr> <td> Certified Pre-Owned </td> <td> 402 </td> <td> 361 </td> <td> 4581 </td> <td> 3681 </td> </tr> </tbody> </table>
