Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I do believe that the car looks absolutely fantastic in all the colour combinations we've thus seen pictured (probably the cause of everyone's agonised decisionmaking!).

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My cayman order is set for november build, january delivery...but just recently ive thought about changing the exterior color. Does anyone know if this change is still possible without delaying the build? Or if not, how long would the delay be??
November builds are already locked in and you can't change them, you could decline that order and take one in a later month, whatever you dealership has available is really the question.
I think I went round and round with this till it gave me a serious headache.......and was thinking of changing it right up till the spec was final. In the end I went with my very first choice and the one that I had speced. I'd really like to own on of these in each and every color, but you gotta pick one and stick with it. I don't think you will be disappointed when you see 'yours' in person.
Thanks for response. I currently have atlas grey but am thinking of changing to black. I like dark colors...nothing too loud. I have gone back and forth so many times, my dealer must think ive gone mad. You guys are right though...all this down time makes you question every choice. Any opinions on these two colors??
Porsche doesn't make any bad colors for the Cayman S. I think both black and grey are fine choices. Black is a pain to keep clean depending on where you live. Atlas has a very rich look to it. I'm Silver myself. But keep looking at the Lapis blue....
Both Black and Atlas are great colors. My last three Porsches have been blackso it was time for something new. Any dark color will be a bit hard to take care of......but metallics (even dark ones) will hide dirt and minor scratches better. Atlas is the color that won me over the first time I saw it......as I said before, I kept looking at other colors, but always went back to Atlas. It has everything I like in a color.....it can look meanand classy at the same time.
Cayman06,
When in doubt always go black! You cannot ever go wrong with it if you understand the upkeep. My last 4 BMW's have all been black and my Cayman was going to be black then I just said I NEED A CHANGE!
It will be sexy and powerful.
Aloha Russ
I was torn between silver and lapis, but plumped for the darker colour because of the way the light picks out the rear haunches with the darker hues.
I'dlove to see a Cayman galleryofall the coloursif anyone has them??
Chancock,
I can't tell you how many times I went back and forth with the Lapis and Cobalt. I just love them both, but thought I need to get as far away from Black as I can or I might just breakdown and get Black again.
Aloha Russ
I'm beginning to think that the hardest decision to make when speccing your CaymanS is to choose the colour. I do believe that the car looks absolutely fantastic in all the colour combinations we've thus seen pictured (probably the cause of everyone's agonised decisionmaking!).
I'm surprised that Porsche hasn't helped us out by released a gallery ofphotos of the car in all its colour options - having an isolatedpatch of colour on the website configurator gives absolutely no indication of what the car will look like.
I ended up wandering the lot at my local OPC weighing up the options - and ended up going back to my first choice!
Chancock,
I was struggling with the decission on color and finally ended up deciding based on a 1' x 2' piece of plastic that was painted the Cobalt Blue. It isn't easy, but like you said, this car makes any color look great.
