Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I am pretty sure that the front calipers for the PCCB differ only in colour between the 996 GT3 MK2 and the PCCB ones used on the turbo, but the rears are different because the PCCB runs 350mm rear disks rather than the 330mm of the standard turbo, so the calipers stand off by an extra 10mm.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, Anyone know why some Turbos have red calipers and some have yellow? Mines a 2001 and has yellow [/b]

POST 2Original post

Yellow are when they have ceramics, but of course some may paint them yellow even with steels.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah that was my initial thought, there steel on mine could do with some new rears so just wanted to check. The front look to be 6 pot calipers is that standard 🤘

POST 4Original post

No, standard is 4-pot - it means they are either the callipers from a GT2, GT3 mk2 or car specced with ceramics ! Ie. the upgrade all those with the standard 4-pots want, but can never find at a reasonable price - well done 8)

I suspect that if you have 330mm rear disks and yellow calipers then they are not PCCB calipers. Not 100% sure on that but that is as I recall when looking at these previoulsy. MC
