but I just used a few sheets of quality wet and dry.

The only thing I would say is that the lens sealant you get is next to useless and I'm going to use Carpro Dlux

Like the other guys have said better results could be obtained using a DA and polish (after wet and dry if bad)
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi folks, what's the best headlight refurb kit?
The autoglym one is highly rated but loses points on its lack of sealant / protector.
Open to suggestions thanks!
I am about to try the Quixx Headlight restoration kit. My Headlights are ntb but I wanted to try this kit as it has a lens sealer / protector included.
The size of the wet and dry included is a tad cheap only suitable for one fingered sanding! I have some sheets of wet and dry so not bothered about this. When I get round to doing them will post the results.
I actually got really good results using the Turtle Wax kit. The only thing I would say is that the lens sealant you get is next to useless and I'm going to use Carpro Dlux

I used this one and the results are fantastic.

The best option IMO is using something like the above with a few grades of wet and dry which you can buy from a hardware store. If you want to get super super clear you can wet sand and polish the lacquer too. This gives proper UV protection for 10+ years.
EDIT:
They actually do a kit:

but I just used a few sheets of quality wet and dry.
I have just done mine and all i used was my polisher and firecla G3 then finished with G10.
Came up like new.
Make sure you mask the paintwork around the light as it is easy to over do it and rub through the paintwork.
Also do not use abrasive!!! It will leave scratches!!!!!
Remove the lights, it's easy enough.
The degree of degradation will determine what action is needed. I used 75mm sanding discs, mostly 3M. About 500-800 grit to start, depending on how much you need to chew off. Then step down the grades a few times. 3M Trizact are great to work towards a polished finish. Then a quick buff up after that.
Here are some before and after results from the Quixx kit. Like the other guys have said better results could be obtained using a DA and polish (after wet and dry if bad)
I just wanted to try this and see how it works. Its okay really considering the price. You can still see a few light sanding marks up close but they could have been done before. Now the lens sealant is on and topped up every few months it should stop them yellowing for a bit anyway.
