Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I actually service my car at Northway, and they were the ones that spotted the rust and recommended Riviera's as well.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I need to have the jacking pint / sill welded on my car. Ideally looking for someone that works mainly on Porsche. I'm happy to pay a premium for a good quality job. Does anyone have a recommendation in the Surrey area?

POST 2Original post

A little outside Surry but not too far is Riviera Autobody, they work almost entirely on Porsche's and they really know the cars well. I thoroughly recommend them, went there a few years ago on recommendation of Northway in Reading when someone reversed into my Boxster denting the front fenders and scratching the bumper and they had it looking like new. Based on that experience I took my 996 C4S to them a couple weeks ago because I had some pretty bad rust on the drivers side rear arch and couldn't be happier with the results, again you can't tell that any work has been carried out, looks completely factory. Worth noting if it's visible on the paint the damage under is usually worse that it looks.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for you suggestion. I actually service my car at Northway, and they were the ones that spotted the rust and recommended Riviera's as well. I would be willing to take it to them however if I'm honest it's a bit difficult to get a response from Riviera. Perhaps because the amount of work required is pretty small which is a shame as I would be looking at a complete repeat at some point in the future. I might keep trying with Riviera as they seem to be worth it
