So I am continuing to make the oil temp gauge, before I splice in the ECU, I wanted to double check my logic (I am a newb, no hate pls).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everybody, This is a quick one, would anybody have the pinout for a 98 C2 manual? I have found on for the 996.2 but that uses motronic 7.X So I am continuing to make the oil temp gauge, before I splice in the ECU, I wanted to double check my logic (I am a newb, no hate pls). So from posts online, I have found that it is pin 73 (but not an official pdf), is my logic below sound? Also does anybody have a recommendation on how to route the cable to the middle console where the telephone port it? Thanks https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...r-console.html <= this is where I get the POWAAA!

POST 2Original post

Wow that looks like a serious project! What is required on the circuit board to read the temp output?
