Does anyone know if the 996 ever came with the darker stone grey interior found on the 997?
Mine has the lighter graphite grey but I'm after some stone grey door cards and can't seem to find any anywhere, perhaps it was not a 996 interior colour??

Apart from Graphite the only grey interior I ever saw listed for the 996 was called Space Grey. I don't know if this was darker or just an alternative (possibly US) name for Graphite.
I got this pic from a refurb company and is an official colour chart. Not sure if it is any help! (My car has the light grey interior and I like it). Mine is the lightest one.

I do like the grey but parts of my interior driver's seat etc are a little worn, not bad but want the tidy it up a bit. I was going to fit black seats and door cards and mats to contrast with the grey. I then bought some black door cards (996) and set about purchasing some 997 seats (tombstone). Finding black rears in good condition was the problem. Then all of a sudden a really nice 997 complete set (stone grey) came up cheap as chips and the company would pallet it up to me. Bought it and here I am, having door card matching issues. The interior has not arrived yet so is not fitted. Perhaps the stone grey seats will look fine with the graphite door cards??
Worst case scenario I'll get the door cards re covered by a trimmer. Might be an opportunity to have a bit of alcantara to match the wheel and gaiter etc. Eh, first world problems. Anyway enough rambling and sorry for rambling on :sleepy:
Weirdly I've just seen a Cobolt blue 996 on eBay with stone grey 997 seats with matching dark door cards!! Bizarre. Obviously you could get the dark grey door cards!!!
