Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Did the loose pressure plate bolts only appy to the CS model or also the "base'? Also was this a problem for only 06 or the 07's too? Vin #'s? Thanks

POST 4Original post

As far as we've been able to tell, this problem was found in some '06 and '07 "S" cars, and has not been seen in either '08 cars (that we know of) or any 2.7 Caymans ... the 2.7 uses a different flywheel and transmission. brad

POST 5Original post

... and a very small number of cars at that. Hardly a "widespread" issue.
