Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All, Please be aware, whilst checking the Department for Transport website to try and find the pending MOT changes I noticed a "View Vehicle Recall" facility. I put in a 993 which I currently own and came up with the following: retro fit child seat air bag deactivation- 993, 993 Turbo 986 (89MY V) & 996 (90 MY W) Basically there can be a faulty connection within the housing. This doesn't affect me; however I thought it irresponsible for me not to raise it. May all have been sorted out but could be a very easy miss for an OPC considering a number of vehicles were not recalled for the wiring loom. Thought it prudent to post on the 996 also!
