Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone, just a quick question to those of you that have replaced their standard exhaust manifolds with aftermarket stainless versions. Of all the ones I have seen online the outer two fixing holes i.e. one at each end of the manifold, look extremely close to the outer two header pipes and their welds. Almost to the point that I'm thinking that to get a new flanged head bolt in there it's going to interfere with the weld. Possibly having to grind some weld off? Is this an optical illusion/photo issue or are they as close as they look? TIA Mark
