just recently purchased a brand new cayman and I want to throw in a full system right away.
I need something with
indash touchscreen
bluetooth
back-up camera
xm
traffic reports
component speakers in the front and rear
subwoofer (small obviously either a 6" or 8")
and a 5-channel amp
my question is....what speakers fit what?
it seems that i need thin speakers...like hertz or something
i want to use a jl 500/5 amp
and i'm not sure what sized subwoofer to use as well...

any suggestions would be great! thanks guys!
Cayman_wong, welcome to the Cayman Club and congratulations on your new Cayman. Please read our forum rules when you get a chance. The search feature is your best friend on this forum, and I will include a few threads below that will give you lots of information on your installation.
one: This is a thread in which a user replaced his whole system with a new headunit and used a JBL 6 channel amp and Eclipse speakers. The user to look for is jneg, also later posts by me in that thread give details on how to do the install. I am fixing the picture links in this thread as we speak, so you can see his system.

two:
The following two threads are Avic D3 installs, both have great information, and the AVIC-D3 and other units in the Pioneer AVIC line have all the features you're looking for.

More information is out there, in fact, there are a couple D3 threads just from today and yesterday. There are always similar thread links at the bottom of the page, and the search button up-top.
Good luck,
Suneet
EDIT: Also, if you tell me whether or not you have the Bose system or not, I can be of further specific help.
Search for my install. I had the D3 with bluetooth, XM NavTraffic, iPod as well as having the speakers upgraded as well. JL Components in the front doors. 8" JL sub in back. I went with two amps though. A JL 300/4 and a 500/1.
Almost exactly what you're looking for!

Swancoat, that's awesome; I didn't even know you had gotten the install done! One of the many things I missed when I was gone. I added a link in your post to the install thread.
