I had posted this in a separate thread, but I thought it might be a good idea to promote this to its own thread in case someone else has the same problem. I just had an odd glitch with my Dension 500. Audio stopped playing. It was able to see the iPod .. just no sound. I just pulled the iPod and hope that when I plug it back in everything will be fine. Still -- rather strange (i.e. I drove to work... everything was fine... drove home.. silence) Ewww Jamie did my install as well. I don't remember how the power is connected, but hopefully it is easy enough to jiggle. I'll give it a try and report back my results.

When reporting a bug, the first question will be are you using the latest SW? I know, many of you still uses 1.00, but I cannot spend time on it, if its not the latest one. Now, its best to wait for 2.02, it will contain some nice improvements on CDRs! E.g. it won't jump to FM when selecting sources.. Does somebody volunteer to do some beta testing on PCM2/2.1, and try out whether this FM thing is working also there? Please PM me. I will need the results already on this weekend otherwise I won't touch PCM then. Thank you in advance!

GW500, I am using 1.00. I can upgrade my firmware to a newer version if you think that will help. I'd be glad to give v2.02 a try as well and let you know if it resolves the issue.

I have tried the following with no luck: 1. Toggled the bypass three times to go into config mode 2. Used the rest button 3. Pulled the power from the unit In all cases, I can control the iPod, browse songs, etc ... but I can't hear anything. Boooo!

I'm not sure, it's a SW issue. iPod cable maybe? Can you hear anything through USB or AUX?

I didn't get a chance to test the USB audio. However, the application of v2.02 firmware resolved the issue.
