This is not a probability of success.

I though about replacing the mufflers but I scored a used x-pipe with high flow cats and that did the trick for me.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I saw this listed on ECS and am intrigued by it, very little info about it on ECS and not even listed on Rennlines site. I sent an inquiry to Rennline but have not received a reply as of yet. Anyone familiar with this catback system? There is more information about other Rennline variants for different models but not this one. Wondering if maybe its a new product or discontinued or.? https://www.ecstuning.com/b-rennline-parts/rennline-titanium-valved-exhaust-porsche-9962/ex33~dk/?pdk=AQ

POST 2Original post

Seems like a new item so look forward to seeing what it looks like. It would be nice if it was also offered in stainless steel for $1500? Titanium adds to the cost for sure and there's an audible difference in titanium vs steel exhaust systems. Having said that, I'm glad that more valved options are coming out to the market. It's really a great option if you want that dual personality. I have the TopGear valved mufflers which had quality construction but I was not a fan of the sound with the open valves when combined with cross-over 200 cel cats. Just too loud and very straight pipe-ish. Some may like it but I did not. I though about replacing the mufflers but I scored a used x-pipe with high flow cats and that did the trick for me. Love the sound now. So keep in mind that cats can make a pretty significant difference in how the car sounds.

I wonder how this compares to the Kline Inconel exhaust.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Spoke with a rep at Rennline today, he asked how I knew about the exhaust and when I explained he said ECS must have jumped the gun, it hasn’t been released or even been made public yet. It’s coming but no timeline was given. ***update-ECS took the listing off their site
