Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

recently bought a c4s....only extra it didn't have was pse, (made up for by v low miles)whats the best exhaust system to fit ? don't want outrageous noise, just nice growl! thought maybe a pse without the switch to keep cost down a bit? cheers for any advice, sorry if question asked too many times already
PSE is THE best exhaust in my opinion 8)
Reap the benefits of getting a cheaper car (compared with 6 months ago) and spend £1600 in the PSE, you will not look back!
:yeah:
I had mine done and am really pleased with it.
Fraserb recently organised a group buy for the PSE with OPC Colchester and I think the East London centre might now be willing to match the price (£1400 for 996 and £1350 for 997) which is well under what most will charge. I have even heard that some OPCs want over £2k

and if Colchester is handy for you call Mike Stebbings on 01206 855500 ext 307
edited to say: even if you are nowhere near Colchester/East London, it's worth calling your local OPC and quoting the price, just to see if they will match it

If I do end up getting one I think that I might go for one of these:

There's a few people on this forum and over on PCGB forum who've said that the company are good to deal with and that the quality is very good. I was just thinking of going fore the mufflers and some new exhaust tips. There are some videos of these exhausts fitted on their web-site too.
Adrian.
No doubt about it: the best exhaust for more noise AND added value to the C4S is PSE.
Most other exhaust systems on the C4S will lose you power unless you get a remap and be of no added [economic] value at resale.
I had Fabspeed backboxes on a 993. Really bassy and boomy (apparently Americans like this, hence a similar boom affliction on a Tubi system I had fitted to a 355, and removed as a result), and I sold it in the end.
