Does anyone know if the Dension will work with the new I Phone? I see that it has bluetooth, so I would expect both the phone and IPOD to work.
Well, I answered my own question, since I got one! It works fine (well the same way) with the bluetooth as my motorola. Still have the echo on the caller's side. I am moving the BTA to the trunk area to see if that makes any difference. Will let you know.
Also the IPHONE ipod device also works fine (same as the Nano). I returned my Nano to Costco, since it was within the 90-day period. Unfortunately, the IPHONE does not seem to charge when connected, like the Nano did. This would be a nice feature if Dension could work on this!
Thanks for the doing the research Astrojeff. It's good to know that the iPhone works with the Dension menu system with music. Good luck on figuring out your bluetooth woes; I would put in a message to Dension support because it's possible you might have a faulty unit in someway since the product is very new.
Also, does the Iphone regularly charge via the dock connector? I would assume so, but I still havn't had a chance to really check it out; they're sold out everywhere in Gainesville and we don't have an apple store. Have you tried the different charge modes of the Dension? For example, setting it to always charge, or +2 under the charge menu in cd6.

The iPhone does use the normal dock connector for everything. I use my previous docks with it and it works fine. I haven't tried it on my Dension yet, but I'll try later and see if mine charges. I have found that 2.02 charges my video iPod whereas 1.05 did not. The settings are too difficult to change when using the CDR24.

I got mine at the Apple store at The Gardens mall. They seem to get a shipment every day.
It does not charge with the dock connector though.
What about playing music from the iPhone via Bluetooth? Does that work? It theoretically should, right? Unless you need the new Parrot MK6100 (I think that's the model #)....
