My first thought was the pump, but as i had replaced the oring i looked elsewhere.

I pulled the pump out while the engine was still out, replaced the oring, and reassembled it.

Using some long articulated pliers i was able to disconnect the aos hose and pull the vent valve out.

After i finished my transmission rebuild i attacked a leak at the bank 2 scavenger pump. I pulled the pump out while the engine was still out, replaced the oring, and reassembled it. The engine went back in and after test driving the transmission i found a serious leak in that area. The car has a new aos. My first thought was the pump, but as i had replaced the oring i looked elsewhere. So i looked at the aos vent on bank 2. It was wet and dirty with oil so i ordered the part and the oring. Replacing it was not too bad. I had to remove the battery cable and the two main electrical round connectors to make space. Using some long articulated pliers i was able to disconnect the aos hose and pull the vent valve out. looks like the aos hose was replaced at some time, and maybe the vent valve because there was some silicone on the old valve. reinstalling the new valve was not too bad with the pliers and a screw driver used to press things together. I put the valve in first then attached the hose. After another test drive the leak was the same. The valve i guess was ok. So up went the car on jack stands. i decided to check the pump seal again. Access to the pump was not bad from below. I pried it out about 1/8-3/16� so i would not disengage the pump from the cam gear. I found the oring i put in had shifted when i installed it and it was crushed. I removed the screws and added a second new rubber oring that i greased up. Once in, i replaced the 10mm bolts and carefully tightened the 10mm bolts to the right torque. After another test drive, no leak. Nice dry area under the pump.
