Hi - Can anyone who has had the 997 shifter or short shifter fitted to their 996 advise which OPC carried out the job pls. Some opc's have never even heard that this can be done or its a direct fit, but surely some must have experience of this, and thats who i'd like to talk to. Thx v much !

Seen that thread and its v helpful, but i want an OPC to supply and fit hence the original Q. Cup cables will transmit more vibrations through the cabin but yes it is a v good mod from what i've heard. If anyone can help with my OPC query, its much appreciated !
It is a direct fit, the cables/connectors etc are all identical to the 996. Just get the OPC to order the right 997 part and it's a straight forward swap. Absolutely no difference in fitting to the 996 part.
