Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Interested to collect experiences of people who have run an aftermarket tune from GIAC, FVD, Cobb Off-the-Shelf / Stage 1, Cobb Pro Tune, Softronic, etc. After the usual 3-4 drive cycles of 20+ minutes, the stock Porsche ECU tune has enabled all sensors on a friend's 987.2 CS after installing Carnewal's HJS "HD" 200-cell cats and has no problem passing OBD2-based annual emissions tests. Datalogs from OBD LX running Torque Pro app showed 12.8-13:1 wide-open throttle air/fuel ratios and around 24 degrees of ignition timing with 92 octane fuel. Please share your experiences on what modifications & aftermarket tune you're using, what kind of experience you've had with emissions readiness checks like this image / annual inspections, and any gains you've experienced on the dyno, Dragy, or measured quarter mile (with 60', 330' 1/8 mi & MPH, 1000', 1/4 mi & MPH trap speed) vs. stock.

POST 2Original post

I have a 987.2 CS with a FVD tune. Unfortunately it will not pass Georgia emissions with the tune. Needed to flash my base tune in order to pass. EGR System Monitor and Catalyst Monitor failed to "ready" set.
