7.5 ft./lbs. no specified sequence, I alternate side to side just barely snug & then repeat to 7.5 ft./lbs. just make sure both sealing surfaces are clean & you shouldn't have a problem

If you do remove the sump plate, be sure to clean both mating surfaces of old silicone thoroughly. Also, apply only a 1.5mm bead of Loctite 5900 in the prescribed manner, otherwise it will leak and you will have to drop it again.

Acetone, but yes if this is related to the IMSG, head on over there for sanctioned procedures. Also, why would you want to remove the sump plate to screw in the IMSG drain plug?

I posted there first about torque specs. Jake replied that he doesn't want to supply them hence my question here. You can see his explanation there.
