You can use a 285/30/18 in there as well, personally we recommend the use of the 265/35/18 since it's a little bit taller over the 285/30/18.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We have just taken a huge delivery of many set of the GT3 replica wheels, over a hundred in pallets we wanted to now offer out a nice alternative to factory options for a reasonable price. These wheels are ready to ship now, they are offered in a 18x8.5 (21.5-lbs) and 18x10 (23.5-lbs) for direct fitment on the Porsche 996 (other models also) Finish: Silver (custom finishing is also available) Nothing needed, no spacers, hub-centering rings or special bolts, they also accept your factory center caps!! We have them available at $1499/set (two fronts and two rears to be clear) Shipping in the USA: (most locations: $100) No taxes collected beyond California! www.wheeldynamics.com Contact: [email removed] Call: [phone removed] All weights are rounded to the nearest .5-lb

POST 2Original post

18x8.5 (21.5-lbs) and 18x10 (23.5-lbs) Wheel: Wheels are manufactured to the same standard as the original where (Low pressure cast)

POST 4Original post

Quotes source post: 13128342

Wow, these are very nice alternatives and IIRC actually lighter than OEM. I guess dedicated track junky's will have to test their durability on the track but still a very nice alternative. Country of Manufacturer? Any Certifications? Pics of the backside of the spokes?

POST 5Original post

The OEM GT-3 wheels were - part# 996 362 136 02 (8J x 18 H2)- front and 996 362 142 04 (11J x 18 H2)- rear. And so, based on the fact that they're 10 x 18 on the rear, they'll work with the C2 narrow body, correct? What is the rear and front offset for your replicas?

POST 6Original post

these are like 997 GT3 Replicas in 18" not actually 996 GT3 replicas... Right because that's what it looks like. do you have 18" 996 Wide body Fitment?

POST 7Original post

My 996 Porsche book shows the OEM GT-3 wheel and it looks identical to the one shown above.

POST 8Original post

Quotes source post: 13133519

have a look again. at the Wheel Pictures above and then the two pictures of the 996 GT3 in Red and Grey... 996 GT3 wheels have rounded spokes. these new replicas are more Defined like 997 GT3 its the details that matter, don't look at the Red Wheels, it covers the Details, look at the Silver Wheels these are 997 GT3 Replica in 18" NOT 996 GT6 Replica

POST 9Original post

I want these so bad, but focusing on brakes and exhaust next...

POST 10Original post

These wheels are a 997 Design for 996 GT3 replica, the reason why they are labeled at such as to draw away from the confusion of the application. We soon will have more photos in different colors, but for now we are just getting started, sorry we missed some questions while out account was being fixed. There was an error on the Rennlist IB side of the business that they soon came correct and repaired. Please feel free to post any other questions, Thanks, Wheel Dynamics Inc.

POST 12Original post

Just realized the sample images on cars are 996gt3 with 996gt3 wheels - so it's misleading Would like to see these actual wheels you're selling on 996 and see how the lugs stick out etc

POST 13Original post

997 gt3 wheels in 19" Oem 997 gt3 wheels in 19" Oem 996 Gt3 wheels in 18" Which is why we need to see the wheels you're actually selling mounted on a 996

POST 14Original post

Quotes source post: 13129325

+1 I don't understand why anyone would advertise wheels and not give the offset.

POST 16Original post

Quotes source post: 13148751

Yea, I'm with you... I've been waiting a week for their reply. Seems like a fundamental thing to show when marketing wheels especially for the Porsches. I'm just curious if the 18x10 versions have the proper 65ET offset or will spacers be needed.

POST 17Original post

Quotes source post: 13148751

I don't understand why our account was abruptly shut down due to an accounting error on IB side.... But it happens, nothings perfect in the world, we just were given our access back yesterday. Play nice. Front et. 52 Rear et. 54

POST 18Original post

And so basically, your GT3 replica rear 18x10 wheels at ET54 will not work with narrow body Porsche 996 models?

POST 19Original post

Quotes source post: 13150621

I think they will work...they will just be more flush to the fender - like running an 11mm spacer.

POST 20Original post

My stock BBS (see pic) are aligned perfectly at the edge I can't imagine going out 11mm (i.e. 1/2")... seems like you would risk hitting the fender's edge.

POST 21Original post

Quotes source post: 13150685

Unless your car has an aftermarket suspension and is lowered, the equivalent of an 11mm spacer will not cause the rear tire to rub the fender.

POST 22Original post

Would love these in widebody/GT2 sizes and/or 19"!

POST 23Original post

Quotes source post: 13150556

That's fine but can you please fix the misleading pics of the wheel where you show 996s wearing genuine 996 gt3 wheels and instead post actual pics of these wheels on a 996

POST 24Original post

Quotes source post: 13150843

Here is a photo of our 996 lowered using a 18x10 off-set (et. 50)... Much better angle over an over-head jacked up angle, put it on the floor and take an other photo, you may then notice that extra space you'll have to use a more aggressive fit. Now if it's a 993 then that would be a different thing all together.

POST 25Original post

Quotes source post: 13151143

We are talking about bringing in an 18x11 "something" soon.... but it takes time sir... Hold steady...

POST 26Original post

POST 27Original post

Quotes source post: 13154877

Hi. Is that black Porsche a narrow body? What model of 996 is it (i.e. Carrera, Carrera 4, GT series, etc.)? Here is another picture of my '03 carrera cab and you can see that the offset of the rear OEM wheels (i.e. ET65) are aligned with the fender edge. Will your wheels with a 54mm offset stick out under the fender's edge using 285/30/18 tires? Thank you!

POST 28Original post

Quotes source post: 13174714

I'm gonna say narrow body but I'll let Wheel Dynamics confirm. There are MANY members running 15mm spacers on factory wheels including the same style as yours without any issues, which basically brings it down to 50mm for the rear. The 54mm should fit fine with no issues. I was running 18x11 on 65mm offsets on my NB with no issues. FWIW, I really like Wheel Dynamic wheels as it is spec'd to be the most aggressive looking/fitting on our cars without the need for additional spacers(a good thing).

POST 29Original post

Quotes source post: 13174952

Thank you man for the valuable information. Buying wheels are difficult cause it's not easy to just "Try them out" and return if you get my drift. Thanks again!

POST 30Original post

Quotes source post: 13174714

You can use a 285/30/18 in there as well, personally we recommend the use of the 265/35/18 since it's a little bit taller over the 285/30/18. alpine003 is absolutely correct, lots of guys are running 7mm fronts and 15mm rears, this is a common purchase item for those who are keeping stock wheels. Holding steady...any news?

POST 32Original post

Quotes source post: 13517358

Sorry to inform you but given the sales history on the GT3 replica wheels we feel that it may not be a good style or option to open a new mold for an 11" option at this time.

POST 33Original post

What size spacers would be needed to fit on 987.1 Cayman?

POST 34Original post

Quotes source post: 13579681

You can use a 10-15mm spacer in the rear side depending on how flush you wish to be with regards to the fender line.

POST 35Original post

Quotes source post: 13582578

Hello, Just sent you a PM: I need a set for a 987.1 Boxster S. So I wont need spacers up front? Thanks, Steve

POST 36Original post

Quotes source post: 13804301

Correct, you are good to go up front.... [phone removed]

POST 37Original post

Do these actually match the OEM GT3 offsets? I hate how high the offset is on my carerra II wheels... (Never actually looked them up to see the offset, but my wheel sits inside my fender by about 3/4" in the rear)

POST 38Original post

Quotes source post: 13990767

Hi there, Sizes offered: Front: 18x8.5 (et. 52) Rear 18x10 (et. 54) Front stock fronts they are out 2mm plus are 1/2" wider on the track so you'll see a more flush look to the fender fronts. The rears are just as wide but have an 11mm push towards the outside of the fenders so flush again....
